The Everest Region, also known as Khumbu region, is in Solukhumbu District situated northeastern part of Nepal. Travelers globally have they bucket list for trekking to Everest region. Even though there are no restricted areas in Nepal for trekking recently, the areas previously marked as restricted areas are currently known as Special Trekking Areas. Specifically, the previously restricted areas were considered sensitive in terms of environment, culture and political point of view.
